A video posted on X by the gossip account @GossipInformer on October 18, 2026, captured Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes—known to fans by her given name, Linnethia—at a birthday celebration the night before
The roughly one-minute clip shows the 58-year-old reality star taking the stage under dramatic red lighting, microphone in hand, delivering a performance as a pink multi-tiered cake is presented.
NeNe Leakes Lights Up a Birthday Party
In the footage, Leakes appears in a form-fitting black dress with sheer patterned long sleeves and overlay details, paired with distinctive zebra-print tights or leggings. Her long, wavy blonde hair frames her as she sings, gestures, and moves across the stage. Text overlays read “Bday vibes,” and watermarks for @eneleakes and @blkwd1017 (fashion designer Brandon Blackwood’s handle) are visible, along with branding that appears to reference Blackwood.
A man carries out the cake topped with a lit sparkler-style candle, while a screen in the background displays a photo of a young child. The setting has the energetic feel of a club or event space with stage lighting and red curtains.
Replies to the post were overwhelmingly complimentary about her appearance. Commenters wrote variations of “She looks good af,” “She looks good,” and “Shut uppp. She look tf good.”
This sighting comes amid a busy stretch for Leakes. Earlier in the month she appeared at a National PrEP Day event in West Hollywood alongside Ts Madison and others, where she discussed openness to returning to RHOA. In an exclusive with Us Weekly, she said a simple sit-down conversation would make a comeback “very easy,” noting she is open to working with any Housewives after her recent guest appearance on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th as part of the franchise’s 20th-anniversary celebrations. She has also been active with comedy appearances and public support for former castmate Kim Zolciak.
Born Linnethia Monique Johnson on December 13, 1967, in Queens, New York, and raised in Athens, Georgia, Leakes became a breakout star as an original cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta in 2008. Known for her outspoken personality, quick wit, and glamorous style, she later pursued acting (including Glee), business ventures such as the Linnethia Lounge, and other television projects. After leaving RHOA in 2020 and pursuing a lawsuit against Bravo and related parties, she has remained a frequent presence in entertainment coverage and fan conversations.
The exact honoree and full guest list of the October 17 party have not been widely detailed beyond the circulating video, but the clip has resonated with fans who continue to follow Leakes’ public appearances and style. It offers a lively snapshot of the longtime personality still commanding a stage and turning heads years after her peak RHOA run.
