Another taco joint is strong with the force in Midtown Atlanta: Emilio’s Taco + Tequila is set to open its doors on September 30, 2024, AtlantaFi.com has learned.
Emilio’s comes to us from Scott Kerns and Scott McCray, who has worked with the restaurant’s namesake — Emilio Portilla — for a quarter century. McCray is also the proprietor of McCray’s Tavern in Midtown.
With Emilio’s the team is leaning hard into Acapulco, Mexico, and its rich flavors.
