Come to “Jet Magazine Reimagined” in Atlanta and celebrate and highlight the achievements of influential African Americans past and present that achieved success in a variety of fields, impacting their community.
This event is set for Sun, May 26, 2019 from 6 to 10 p.m. ET.
Jet Magazine Reimagined in Atlanta
This experience intends to celebrate creativity, individuality and originality. This will be an event dedicated to art, music, and art enthusiast. The exhibition will celebrate Jet Magazine, influencers like Solange Knowles, Dr. Angela Davis, Outkast and Lauryn Hill, among others.
Jet Magazine Reimagined will use 1950’s and 60’s Jet magazine cover art as a resource and inspiration for the exhibition. Graphic artist Shaheed Rucker will redesign the vintage JET magazine covers in a variety of ways. The experience will take you on a journey through the magazine and its content.
The show will take place at Buckhead Art & Company in Atlanta, GA from 6pm-10pm.

The festival’s official selection process took place on June 21. Actors Keith David and Terri Vaughn did the honors.
As an incubator for new films and talent, BronzeLens receives submissions from scores of countries around the world. Only those films that are elite, diverse and substantive make the cut.
As a result, the juried films include the work of some the world’s most talented filmmakers. Narrative fiction, documentary, webisode, music video and short film screenings coupled with the who’s who of the film industry.

This year’s BronzeLens Awards Show set for August 24 will be hosted by Comedian Rodney Perry and will feature some\ superb entertainment.

The husband and wife owned eatery HobNob Neighborhood Tavern is opening another location in metro Atlanta. The newest spot will be in Atlantic Station in Midtown Atlanta.
The new HobNob eatery is set to open its doors in fall 2019.
HobNob has three other locations in the city, one in Brookhaven, Dunwoody and the other off Piedmont in Midtown, the original eatery.
The restaurant’s website describes it as “a ‘spirited’ place, featuring one of the largest collections of bourbon and whiskey in the Southeast. Fine Southern additions to the menu of refined tavern fare combined with sincere and friendly service make visiting this community-driven establishment a must for both weekday revelers and weekend warriors.”

The acclaimed entertainer is bringing fans in 24 cities an all-new show featuring many of her hits across a storied two-decade career.

The Tour will kick off June 7 in Phoenix, AZ and make stops in Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, New York and more, before wrapping July 26th in Miami, FL.

The tour will also feature the “World of Dance Experience,” in which audiences will be treated to surprise dance guest performances by stars from Jennifer’s hit NBC dance show “World of Dance.”

Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails in North Fulton is serving a feast on the last weekend of the month. The Alpharetta restaurant is having its 2019 Farmyard Chowdown Festival on Sunday April 28, 219.
The food fiesta will take place in Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails back yard.
Patrons can expect their annual Low Country Boil,but this year it’s going to be taken up a notch.
Chef Derek will be serving up oysters, mussels, pickle fried chicken, BBQ, a low country seafood boil with crawfish, crab legs, shrimp, and more.
