Boardgame lovers, unite! The Atlanta Game Festival is set to take place Thursday, May 30 through Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta.
Atlanta Game Fest takes place different times of the year. There is one planned for October and another one in January. Atlanta Game Fest 33 begins May 30.

The Atlanta Game Festival is an opportunity for boardgame lovers to get together, socialize and, well, play some games.
The festival will be comprised of four full days of fun and games. We get a great group of friendly folks who make getting into a game easy. There will also be an extensive selection of the games folks are most interested in playing now, since they went to the trouble of bringing them for play.

It’s going down, Atlanta! Muddy Princess, an outdoor 3-mile obstacle mud run for women only, is taking place in metro Atlanta.
The women only event is set for Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Georgia International Horse Park 1996 Centennial Olympic Pkway NE Conyers, GA 30013.
Muddy Princess coming to metro Atlanta June 2
The event is for Princesses of all sizes, ages and fitness levels. The event promises not to focus on fastest times or competitions. The main goal is fun.
Be prepared to run, walk, crawl, climb, slide, balance and laugh your way along our course for an amazing “girls dirty day out!”
There is no limits on the size of your team, it can be as many Princesses as you can convince to join you for a day in the mud!
Please don’t feel excluded if you are entering as an individual, all of our Princesses are part of our Muddy Princess family and there will always be help and support to ensure everybody makes it over the obstacles and crosses the finish line at their own pace.
The event venue opens at 7 a.m. for registration with the first wave starting at 8 a.m. and continuing every 20 minutes (8:00, 8:20, 8:40 etc) up until the last wave of the day. Please choose your preferred start time when choosing your ticket. PLEASE NOTE – for safety reasons, each wave has limited numbers and once it is full there will be no additions allowed and no exceptions.

The festival’s official selection process took place on June 21. Actors Keith David and Terri Vaughn did the honors.
As an incubator for new films and talent, BronzeLens receives submissions from scores of countries around the world. Only those films that are elite, diverse and substantive make the cut.
As a result, the juried films include the work of some the world’s most talented filmmakers. Narrative fiction, documentary, webisode, music video and short film screenings coupled with the who’s who of the film industry.

The Modern Atlanta Dance Festival (MAD) takes place Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Balzer Theater at Herren’s.
The MAD Festival, now in its 25th year, will showcase the diversity and excellence of Atlanta’s thriving dance scene.

Guests will be treated to two days of energetic and culturally rich dance from seven choreographers. The festivities begin at 8 p.m EST.
Saturday night will feature a special treat: The MAD Festival will honor Maniya Barredo with the fifth annual Pioneer of Atlanta Dance award.
Barredo is a legend in Georgia dance circles. She was prima ballerina of the Atlanta Ballet for two decades. She is also the founder/director of the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre,

General admission for the MAD Festival is as follows: $25 adults, $20 Children 12 & under, seniors and working artists, and $15 for groups of 10 or more.
