Customers of Spirit Airlines flights will still be able to fly and the airline will operate as normal at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta.
In a statement early Monday, the airline announced it had reached a prearranged agreement with its bondholders, which includes $300 million in debtor-in-possession financing to help it navigate the bankruptcy process. Starting Monday, Nov. 11, Perimeter Mall in Atlanta will begin charging for parking in about 300 spaces close to its front entrance, out of the mall’s total 7,000 parking spots.
