Who says meat-based restaurants have all the fun? The Slutty Vegan restaurant, originally a food truck, had its grand opening for its brick-and-mortar location on Sunday, January 13, 2019 in Atlanta and hasn’t looked back.
On that chilly overcast day, the Slutty Vegan opened its doors to more than 1,200 people on the city’s Westview neighborhood between Cascade and West End at 1542 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30310.
Since then the 100% plant-based southwest Atlanta restaurant has been packing in crowds on a daily basis.
Slutty Vegan Restaurant Opens In Atlanta’s Westview neighborhood
Cole has been able to build buzz because she comes from the entertainment world, particularly TV. Hers is the only Atlanta restaurants with consistent long lines day in and day out.
Favorite Slutty Vegan Menu Items
Menu favorites include some slutty and fun names like the Ménage à Trois ($15), a plant-based patty with vegan bacon and shrimp, topped with lettuce tomato and special sauce.
Another top menu item is the Heaux Boy ($15), vegan shrimp tossed in a New Orleans style batter, served on a Hawaiian bun with pickles, lettuce and drizzled with secret sauce.
There’s also the One Night Stand and Sloppy Toppy as well as other favorites.
Here’s Some Of What’s On The Slutty Vegan Menu (Photos)
Patrons can expect plenty of plant-based burgers as well as vegan shrimp and BLT sandwiches.
Pinky Cole, a Clark Atlanta University alumna, is the brains behind the Slutty Vegan, which was a popular food truck for much of 2018. The food truck’s non-meat fare would often sell out of its dishes.
