Boxcar Betty’s has opened its new location in Atlanta’s West Midtown area. On the April 26, 2023 grand opening, the eatery is giving away free chicken sandwiches to the first 150 customers in line. Festivities start at 11 a.m.

The new Atlanta restaurant is owned by Roth Scott and Ian MacBryde, who opened the first location in Charleston, South Carolina.

Although only open a relatively short time, Boxcar Betty’s already one of the best places to eat in West Midtown.

Boxcar Betty’s West Midtown eatery is located in the Westside Paper development, nearly 300,000 square foot mixed-used facility anchored by four restaurants and office space.

If Boxcar Betty’s menu is anything like it’s South Carolina location, Atlanta diners can expect such hits as the Boxcar Chicken Sandwich, which comes with Pimiento Cheese, Peach Slaw, House Pickles, Spicy Mayo; the Chicken “Not So Waffle,” which has Bacon Jam, Maple Syrup, Pimiento Cheese, Tomato. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich has Blue Cheese Sauce, Tomato, Bibb Lettuce.
