The coronavirus pandemic has upended the lives of nearly every American. Right here in Atlanta, legendary dancer Blondie is one of many in need.

The iconic Clermont Lounge dancer is in need after the establishment was shut down amid the COVID-19 scare.

Legendary Clermont Lounge Dancer Blondie Needs Your Help

Because her extended stay motel was shut down, Blondie needs your help. A GoFundMe account has been set up. Here’s what it says:

Along with many businesses, The Clermont Lounge responsibly has closed it’s doors this past week waiting out the pandemic.
Atlanta’s very own 63 year old icon, Anita Rae Strange, AKA Blondie, has worked at The Clermont Lounge for over 41 years. She has lived in a week to week motel in midtown Atlanta for the past 4 years and after today, will no longer be able to stay there. Blondie is a senior citizen, and now is in desperate need of Food and Shelter during this weird moment in time in the world.

If you can, please donate to Blondie HERE.
