Do you remember the reality show, “Blind Date”, that followed two strangers’ first date with hilariously sarcastic narratives and thought bubbles? If you do, “Blind Date” is being rebooted by Bravo and is set to start filming this summer exclusively in Atlanta. “Blind Date” intends to bring back traditional blind dating juxtaposed to today’s digital age of social media dating apps.

Along with incorporating social media trends within the show, Bravo promises to include more diversity on set with “diverse couples of all ethnicities, ages and sexual orientations…”

The show plans on shooting between May and August and intends on keeping the original format of pairing two singles together for a night out on the town.

If you ever wanted to be on TV and find your soulmate, here’s your chance. If you happen to be in search of Mr. or Mrs. Right and stay within two hours of Atlanta, “Blind Date” may be looking for you.

‘Blind Date’ casting call in Atlanta: How to apply

One of the application requirements for the show is a one-day commitment to film. If selected to appear on the show, there will be a monetary stipend (paid gig) and production pays for the date.

The application consists of online questions that range between asking why you’re single to how your ex would describe your worst traits.

One of the most iconic reality shows from the early 2000s, “Blind Date” set the bar for dating shows by revealing the awkwardness many singles experience on a first-time blind date. The show originally syndicated from 1999 to 2006.
