A new CBS daytime soap opera is being filmed in Atlanta and they’re casting locales for key scenes.
CBS recently wrapped auditions for the major actors for the series, which is produced by CBS Studios/NAACP Venture.
Production is set to begin in November, aiming for a premiere in early 2025.

Who Are the Cast Members of Beyond the Gates?
Cast members for Beyond the Gates include Brandon Claybon, Timon Durrett, Sean Freeman, Marquita Goings, Maurice Johnson, Trisha Mann-Grant, RhonniRose Mantilla, Ambyr Michelle, Colby Muhammad, and Arielle Prepetit.
They will join the previously announced cast, featuring Tamara Tunie as Anita Dupree, Daphnee Duplaix as Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson, and Karla Mosley as Dani Dupree.
What Is Beyond the Gates About?
Beyond the Gates is set in a picturesque Maryland suburb, just outside of Washington D.C., and highlights one of the wealthiest African American counties in the nation.
At the heart of this narrative is the Dupree family, a prestigious multi-generational clan embodying the essence of Black royalty. Yet, behind their opulent facade and meticulously maintained gardens lie scandalous secrets and hidden dramas.
Those living outside these gates are always watching, as the characters navigate their lives—balancing love, ambition, and the complexities of success, some with more grace than others.

Atlanta Casting Call: Beyond the Gates
Production is seeking people local to the Atlanta, GA area to play various extra roles in the series. ALL ethnicities, ages, genders, and sizes are encouraged to apply. We will be casting for Non-Union talent. All extra work and fittings are paid. Local hire only, no travel or housing provided. Filming will generally take place Monday through Friday and is often a 12+ hour commitment for each day of work.

20 UPSCALE COUNTRY CLUB GUESTS/NEIGHBORS
– AGES: Adults, Ages 21 + – WARDROBE NOTE: Majority of the scenes that this specific group of BG will be in takes place in a VERY UPSCALE, WEALTHY COUNTRY CLUB. That being said, please keep this in mind when you submit and send your best photos with you DRESSED IN UPSCALE OPTIONS. – Please have an open availability with a flexible schedule. This is a reoccurring BG position so dates will be subject to change at any time. FYI, we are only casting 20 COUNTRY CLUB MEMBERS for the season! So again, please send in your best photos with upscale wardrobe as everyone will be picture picked. The rate for PAID BG on this project is: – $175/12 for daily shoot days. Payments will be received in the form of a check in the mail within 2 weeks after filming and processing from the digital Extras Payroll Platform, EVERYSET.
