Born and raised in the swamps of Louisiana, playing and writing music since the tender age of eight, Brock Thornton aka Boogie T, has come along way to bring the low end. Hailing from the South, the cradle of soul, it is easy to hear the southern influence in his music.
Bass, Dubstep, Future Funk – whatever you want to call it – for Boogie T, it has always been about entertaining. Whether singing, rapping, playing guitar/keys/ bass, DJ’ing or producing, Boogie T’s goal is simple: make great music and connect with people by taking risks and pushing boundaries.
Boogie T dropped his debut EP on Ganja White Night’s label Subcarbon Records in October of 2017, snagging a top 10 spot on the iTunes Electronic Album chart, and has releases on Atlantic/Big Beat, Circus Records, SMOG Records and All Good Records, amassing millions of streams online.
Boogie T has toured with Ganja White Night, Snails and co-headlined his very own tour with SQUNTO.Playing across the country and beyond with GRiZ, Zeds Dead, Funtcase, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, Minnesota, G Jones, SunSquabi, LOUDPVCK, Skism, NGHTMRE, Subtronics and many others, he and his guitar are gracing the stages of festivals such as Lollapalooza, Electric Forest, Buku, Lost Lands, Okeechobee, Big Dub, Imagine, 515 Alive, Dreamscape, Nightmare Fest, and so much more.
Boogie T is blazing an exciting path from the Bayou to a city near you!

There are few places as well known and prominent in Atlanta than Waffle House. The yellow-trimmed eatery worked its way to popularity by first serving customers in a greasy house-setup in Avondale Estates in Decatur’s shadow.
Now it is one of the greatest American breakfast institutions ever created. And as much as we think we know and appreciate the place, there are tons of insights we can learn about the House from other people.
Waffle House TripAdvisor reviews in Atlanta
Here are some of the greatest reviews ever of Atlanta Waffle Houses as posted on TripAdvisor.
Location: 135 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA 30303
On TripAdvisor reviewer said this: “I’ve heard of and seen numerous Waffle House’s while travelling. It seems to be primarily a Southeastern US chain; there are none in California. I suppose it is similar to the Denny’s or IHOP brands in California, although this Waffle House I visited was smaller and skankier than any Denny’s or IHOP’s I’ve been to. Still, if famed Southern chef Sean Brock takes Anthony Bourdain to Waffle House on the latter’s eponymous TV show, I figure it’s worth a try.
“There were 2 Waffle Houses within walking distance to my downtown hotel. This was the closer one. It’s gritty. There are a few tables and booths, plus 2 small counters (one high, one low) facing the open kitchen. All surfaces are hard and hopefully disinfectable. While I was there, the cement-floored kitchen was literally being hosed down with a garden hose (there is a floor drain). The restrooms, which I did not use, seem to be frequented by folks who aren’t eating here and perhaps don’t have a place to call home. If Atlanta had health inspection letter grades posted on restaurant windows (as is customary and required in Los Angeles), this Waffle House grade surely would NOT be an “A”. I opted to order my food to go.”
2. 1701 Northside Dr NW, Ste A, Atlanta, GA 30318-2674
One TripAdvisor reviewer says: “I used to travel to Georgia a lot to visit a friend and that is where I was introduced to Waffle House, that staple of the south. My friend indoctrinated me to Waffle House early on. As a New Yorker, its like walking on to an alien space ship…. Hard to imagine eating there. But eat I have. Many times. Other than the harsh lighting, cockroaches on the counter, greasy incredibly-unhealthy food, and the local “atmosphere”…. it’s a cheap meal. That’s the best I can say and I will leave it at that. — So cheap that when we once left a $5 tip, the waitress ran out to the parking lot to thank us as we were leaving. I guess she never got a $5 tip before?
I’ve brought other New Yorkers in to Waffle Houses in other places and they refused to eat in there. Clearly, expansion in to New York will not be happening any time soon.”
3. 300 Marietta St NW, Suite 104, Atlanta, GA 30313
The food was good and reasonably priced. The pecan waffles were amazing!!!! The service was just ok, we had to ask for drinks and refills several times.
It’s only about a block from the Georgia Aquarium / World of Coca-Cola.
Note: Do NOT try to order pancakes at a Waffle House. They do NOT appreciate it. I would go there again.”
4. 1700 Howell Mill Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318-3114
One TripAdvisor reviewer said: “This was my first time eating at Waffle House and i am a fan now. The hype is true and my only complaint is that i took so long to dine there. The staff was great, service was great. Only issue i had was that the dinning area was not as clean as it should be.
5. 3735 Roswell Rd NE, Atlanta, GA 30342-4414
One TripAdvisor commenter said this: “This is the best thing you can get… the Fiesta Omelet, add mushrooms, the has browns scattered smothered diced peppered and capped, wheat toast and a large chocolate milk! You won’t be disappointed!”
