ATLANTA, GA — From May 29–31 and June 5–7, 2026, the Atlanta Street Fringe Festival will once again bring free, high-energy performances to streets, plazas, and storefronts throughout Little 5 Points.
Presented in partnership with the Atlanta Fringe Festival, Medias Res Immersive Theatre, and the Little 5 Points Cultural District, the event continues its mission of making art accessible and celebrating the neighborhood’s eclectic spirit.
Atlanta Street Fringe Returns to Little 5 Points
This year’s lineup features 21 performers from Atlanta and across the country, including buskers, circus artists, musicians, comedians, puppeteers, dancers, and immersive theater creators. Audiences can look forward to a wide variety of acts — from spectacular hula hoop performances and mind-bending illusions to fringe comedy, folk puppetry, movement-based pieces, and genre-defying shows that blur the lines between disciplines.
All performances are completely free to attend, though donations to support the artists are strongly encouraged. Festival-goers will also have the chance to help crown their favorite performer by scanning a QR code on site. The artist who receives the most votes will take home the $150 Audience Choice Award.
Performances are scheduled for:
- Fridays and Saturdays: 4:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Sundays: 2:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Multiple locations throughout Little 5 Points will host shows simultaneously, allowing attendees to wander, discover new acts, and enjoy the neighborhood’s unique vibe.
“Atlanta Street Fringe brings unexpected art directly to the public and celebrates the creativity and eccentric spirit that make Little 5 Points such a unique cultural destination,” said Louis Kyper, Street Fringe Organizer.
The festival offers a perfect low-cost way for families, friends, and visitors to experience live performance art in an open, communal setting. Whether you’re a longtime Little 5 Points resident or visiting for the first time, the event promises memorable moments and plenty of surprises.
