New Trailer Alert: AtlantaFX Season 3 (VIDEO)

We’ve been blessed with another trailer from the team at Atlanta FX as the show readies its return to the screen.

When Does Atlanta Season 3 Come Out?

The show’s third season premieres on March 24, 2022 on FX. Lead star Donald Glover, Zazie Beetz, Brian Tyree Henry, and Lakeith Stanfield are all back.
Glover, a native of Atlanta suburb Stone Mountain, is ready to show the world the Seasons 3 and 4 of Atlanta on FX, but also for the show to end. He recently told panelists at a Television Critics Association virtual session that the Season 4 will be the show’s last season.

Donald Glover Says Atlanta Will End After Season 4

“To be honest, I wanted to end it after season 2,” Glover said, cracking a smile, “and I think we had talked about that for a minute,” Glover continued. “Death is natural … I feel like when the conditions are right for something, they happen, and when the conditions aren’t right for it, they don’t happen. I don’t feel any sort of longevity. I feel like the story was always supposed to be what it was, and the story, it really was us. Everybody in that writers’ room, everybody on set, it really was what we were going through and what we talked about, and that’s the only way I like to make things. I think it ends perfectly.”

His comments mean the characters of Earn Marks, Alfred “Paper Boi” Miles (Brian Tyree Henry) and the gang are coming to an end.

Of course, the all-star cast, including Glover, have plenty of other projects in the works. Glover’s deal with Amazon wasn’t a factor, he stressed.

“And Amazon didn’t have anything to do with that,” he said. “We had been planning that for a while. I’ve done television now for almost two decades, so I’m just, like, I like things ending.”

Not since Season 2’s “Robbin’ Season” has the anticipation for Atlanta been so intense.

Atlanta Seasons 3 and 4 were shot in succession like “part one and two,” according to the network’s president, who has taken every opportunity to brag on the show.

Filming locations are reportedly set around Atlanta and parts of Europe, including London.

The show’s popularity is centered on Glover, who is a manager and promoter for his cousin, an aspiring rapper.

What Is Atlanta FX About?

it has become TV-making lore that Glover pitched the head of FX on a whole other show than what we recognize now as Atlanta.
If you’ve never watch Atlanta FX, you may be wondering what it’s about. The show is based on the interactions between two close cousins and their mutual friend in Atlanta, Georgia.
Earn (Glover) is a down-on-his-luck father who is trying to mend his relationship with his baby’s mother. He’s terrible at keeping a job so he agrees to manage the fledging rap career of his cousin Alfred (Brian Tyree Henry), who raps under the stage name “Paper Boi”.
That’s a lot going on, but if you add Darius (Lakeith Stanfield) in the mix, the hijinks commence.
