When you mix fall weather with food and drinks, you’ve got a party on your hands. And that’s the deal when Atlanta’s Upper Westside hosts its third-annual Westside Stride block party on Sunday, October 5, 2025.

The Westside Stride Bock Party will run from noon to 6 p.m. along Howell Mill Road (between 8th and 17th Streets).

Westside Stride Bock Party: What To Know Before You Go

This car-free event features live music across multiple stages, a vendor and artist market, food experiences, and family-friendly activities like a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, and bounce houses.

Attendees can explore local shops, restaurants, and amenities while enjoying a pedestrian-friendly afternoon.

Bicycles, strollers, rollers, and scooters are welcome. Ample parking is available nearby (details at upperwestsideatl.org/parking. Note: 8th, 10th, 17th Streets, and Trabert Avenue remain open for vehicle crossings.

Note: 8th Street, 10th Street, 17th Street and Trabert Avenue will remain open for vehicle traffic to cross Howell Mill Road during Westside Stride.

Westside Stride is free to attend! Last year, thousands of visitors headed to the Upper Westside to take advantage of this outdoor day of fun, get to know the district and celebrate the lovely fall weather.

To bring awareness to the value of creating walkable communities and to highlight the local businesses, retail spaces and award-winning restaurants found in the Upper Westside district.
