In addition to her radio career, Wanda Smith performed as a stand-up comedian, often appearing in comedy clubs around Atlanta and beyond. She was known for her observational humor, often drawing on her life experiences, relationships, and family.

One of the more public moments in her career occurred in 2018, when she was involved in a high-profile incident with comedian Katt Williams. Williams made some jokes at her expense during a radio interview, which led to a public back-and-forth between the two.
