Season 3 was initially positioned as the final season after a December 2025 announcement. In a surprise move earlier in July 2026, Netflix renewed the show for a fourth season, with Perry stating that the Bellarie family’s story “is far from finished” and expressing gratitude for the chance to continue exploring it.
True to Perry’s efficient production style at his Atlanta studios, Season 3 was reportedly filmed in an unusually short time frame (around six days).
