Things To Do In Atlanta This Weekend: FroRibbean Fest

FroRibbean Fest is coming to Atlanta this weekend. The festival is a cultural mashup of musical snippets from areas of the Caribbean islands, Africa and the United States.

Held on September 29, 2018 in Atlanta’s own Central Park, this one-day festival will showcase the talent that spreads across the African Diaspora and the unique aspects as well as similarities of the music created around the world.

Festivities will run from 2-11 pm at Central Park (Ben Hill Community), 400 Merritts Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA.

Festival goers will enjoy performances by an All-star lineup including Tiwa Savage, Alkaline, Bunji Garlin, DJ Envy and more, while indulging in some of Atlanta’s best eats and treats.

This event is an experience around the world through a celebration of the music, food, games and dances of various African, Afro-Caribbean, and African American cultures.

Come out and join us for one day of festival fun! Wear your country’s flag, your hair as you dare, and please don’t forget your dancing shoes for this non-stop party. Oh and did we mention the event is B.Y.O.B.? So ice that cooler down and bring your drink of choice. For the festival goers who like to travel light, Rum Punch and food vendors will also be available for purchase throughout the event.
