What is The Good Daughter About?
Adapted from Slaughter’s bestselling novel of the same name, the project is a suspenseful crime drama that follows sisters Charlotte and Samantha Quinn, who have spent the past 28 years trying to rebuild their lives after a traumatic night of violence fractured their family.
The story is set in the small town of Pikeville, where Charlotte, now a lawyer like her father, becomes the first witness to another violent attack. As the case unfolds, she is forced to confront her own demons while navigating a series of shocking revelations. Together, Charlotte and Samantha grapple with the lingering effects of their past, ultimately questioning whether the sacrifices they made to be “good daughters” were worth the cost.
