The 2018 Georgia Gravity Games Come To Douglasville

Atlanta’s Georgia Tech and the City of Douglasville are teaming up with Google for the 2018 Georgia Gravity Games, a gravity-only car race competition happening this weekend. The event is slated for Saturday, November 3, 2018, in downtown Douglasville.
The Gravity Games is an education initiative intended to inspire Georgia’s prep students to use STEM-related skills and ideas to build gravity-powered vehicles. The Gravity Games have commenced in Douglas County, site of one of Google’s global data centers, for the past four years.
There will be food vendors on hand as well as Science Street, a STEM exhibit with hands-on activities for kids.
Gravity Games registration is open to anyone as is the event. The registration deadline was October 19, 2018, at 11:59 p.m. Students, teachers and individuals can register at http://www.gagravitygames.com.
