The Taste of Atlanta is set to take place Friday, October 18 through Sunday, October 20, 2019 in Midtown Atlanta. The event will be held at Historic Fourth Ward Park.
The award-winning food event will feature the best of Atlanta’s craft beer, wine and spirits.
Taste of Atlanta 2020: Everything You Need To Know
The Taste of Atlanta will showcase the local restaurant scene, featuring restaurants as well as on-stage cooking demos, cooking classes and new this year, Food Districts, a more expansive VIP Experience and a Saturday night concert. Here’s what’s in store:
Opening Night Party: October 16
Friday kicks off with the Opening Night Party hosted by a top Atlanta chef. The music and food tastings will go from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Main Tasting Events (October 17 & 18)
Bringing together chefs from neighborhoods across Atlanta and representing dozens of cuisines, Taste of Atlanta will serve as a destination to try bites from restaurants all in one place.
The main festival will also include live cooking demonstrations from chefs,taste talks, and cooking classes. Make sure you sign up for free cooking classes.
Food Districts
Taste of Atlanta will also feature Food Districts that specialize in a dish- or location-specific cuisine from that particular area. Here are the Food Districts that will be included:
- Brunch All Day
- Buford Highway
- Tailgating
Bartending Competition
There will also be a bartending competition that shows the best drink pourers who demonstrate mastery of a spirit, timely submissions, presentation skills, media/ collaboration skills, and volume batching.
VIP Experience
The Taste of Atlanta’s VIP Experience provides access to an all-inclusive festival area with tastings from around a dozen select restaurants and pours from craft beer, wine and cocktail makers.
VIP ticket holders can access the General Admission area of the festival and will also receive a post-event tasting list from restaurants enjoyed in all areas of the festival.

Ready for the Taste of Atlanta? Tickets are on sale now for Friday’s Opening Night Party and Saturday and Sunday’s main tasting events. Guests are encouraged to buy early.
