Chefs Parnass Savang and Rod Lassiter, known for the Michelin-recommended Talat Market, are set to open Some Luck, a Thai bar, in early summer 2025, likely in June.

The new Atlanta restaurant is situated in the Otto’s Apartment Hotel building beneath the Highland Inn in the space formerly occupied by the Highland Ballroom Lounge in Atlanta’s Poncey-Highland neighborhood.

What’s To Expect From the Menu at Some Luck

The menu will feature Thai street food staples like hot and sour soups, boat noodles, fried pork ribs, and wings, paired with rum-based cocktails using Thai ingredients and pitchers of Singha beer. This spot aims to capture the vibrant, casual energy of Thai street stalls.
