Atlanta motorists now have another parking payment option besides ATLPlus Mobility. PayByPhone has just entered the Atlanta market and will be accessible to users of more than 2,700 on-street spaces in the city.

To make its introduction as sweet as possible, PayByPhone is offering one free hour of parking in Atlanta, beginning Dec. 2 through Dec. 31.

PayByPhone Offers Free Atlanta Parking

The free parking is at designated PayByPhone locations for those who download the app, which is available for both Android and iOS users.

PayByPhone parking will be available in the following Atlanta areas:

  • Buckhead
  • East Central Business District
  • Little Five Points
  • North Midtown
  • South Midtown
  • West Central Business District
  • West End

Atlanta and other cities around the world are looking at parking more strategically – clearly understanding the impact of parking on its residents and visitors.” said Roamy Valera, CEO of PayByPhone. “We strive to bring our experience to our municipal partnerships to deliver a seamless and user-friendly parking experience for the cities and their drivers.”

Similar to ATLPlus Mobility, the PayByPhone app sends text messages automatically when a parking session expires and gives drivers the ability to extend their parking session.

Drivers can also begin a session without registering for an account, making it ideal for those who are pressed for time.

To Atlanta is one of the most convenient places to travel to and from. A large part of that is because Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is so accessible.

Not only is it the world’s busiest airport, but it’s state-of-the-art in every way. If you’re interesting in traveling around Atlanta via car or even on scooter, here’s what to know.
