Now Serving in College Park: Buttermilk Biscuit

In the Hapeville, College Park area, the breakfast wars have begun in earnest. A new contender has arisen though: Buttermilk Biscuit.

The eatery, which opened quietly in Virginia Station in November 2023, has made a big impact on the breakfast plans of many a resident in southwest Atlanta, including me.

What’s On the Menu at Buttermilk Biscuit?

The menu has several delicious dishes that will make your morning. Here’s a list of some faves:

  • Deviled Egg Breakfast: 5 creamy filled halves with ground chicken sausage, topped with bacon bits.
  • Fried Green Tomatoes: Unripe tomatoes battered and fried golden and served with goat cheese. Remoulade sauce on the side.
  • Buttermilk Biscuit Trio: Savory Blueberry Lemon Zest, Garlic Cheddar and Buttermilk Biscuit served with your choice of housemade jam and butter.
  • Very Berry French Toast: Four slices of brioche toast topped with seasonal berries and powdered sugar. Served with house-made berry compote and maple syrup on the side.
  • The Morning Dish Breakfast: Choice of biscuit or toast with two eggs, choice of breakfast potatoes, grits or fruit, and choice of breakfast sausage or bacon. *Optional vegan substitutes.

What To Order at Butttermilk Biscuit

My favorite is The Early Bird, which consists of four crispy chicken wings, served with our famous waffles, powdered sugar, and maple butter.
