Typewriter Tom Returns for National Typewriter Day Celebration
Visitors can step back in time on Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, as the popular Typewriter Tom makes his annual return. From noon to 5 p.m. both days, guests of all ages will have the chance to try out historic typewriters and experience “The Machines That Wrote America” firsthand.
The weekend serves as the perfect warm-up for National Typewriter Day on June 23, offering hands-on fun and insight into how these iconic machines helped shape modern communication.
RoboSoccer Takes Center Field Ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026
On Saturday, June 27, from noon to 5 p.m., the museum will celebrate Atlanta’s role as a host city for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ with a lively family-friendly event called RoboSoccer. Attendees can grab remote-controlled vehicles and miniature soccer balls to compete in fast-paced, action-packed matches on a custom mini-field.
