If you’re looking for a lively night of creative arts, Kate’s Cafe in Midtown Atlanta may be just the thing. Neatly tucked away amid some residential homes at 970 Piedmont Ave NE, a short distance from 10th Street, Kat’s Cafe live music bar and restaurant is definitely one of those cool things to do in Atlanta on any day of the week.
Poetry lovers who are fans of open mic nights flock to this place. And the food’s good. too. While the menu may not be that expansive, the few dishes Kat’s Cafe specializes in are good.

“Oh, yes. I will return. Kat’s Cafe (KC) is a gem ,I’m glad I found. KC is a small venue that features live entertainment and a bar for drinks.
From the accolades given by the singer that was there the night I was, KC is where local talent is given a chance to shine. There is a small cover. $10, the night I was there. Not sure if it changes depending on the act.
Seating was limited and the cafe was full so I sat at the bar. Drinks are reasonably priced.
Valet parking available on premise. Thanks, Kat for a nice place to unwind on the weekends! I will be returning soon.”
