Atlanta Businesses Offering Freebies To Hurricane Florence Evacuees

Putting a decidedly Atlanta touch on Southern hospitality, numerous local businesses are offering free admission, food and other freebies to Hurricane Florence evacuees. The list of participating establishments continues to grow but here are some we’ve found on social media.

The Atlanta Braves are giving Hurricane Florence evacuees free tickets

The High Museum of Art in Midtown Atlanta is offering free admission to all evacuees with a valid Virginia, South Carolina, or North Carolina ID.

Hurricane Florence was barreling into North Carolina about midday Thursday, with tropical storm-force winds hurling waves of rain.

College Football Hall of Fame

The College Football Hall of Fame in downtown Atlanta is offering a 20% discount to the Hall at their box office starting Friday until Sunday, September 16, if you have a valid North Carolina, South Carolina or Virginia ID.

Georgia Aquarium

The Georgia Aquarium is giving evacuees a 20% discount this weekend as well.

Kennesaw State football

Evacuees can take in a football game at Kennesaw State this weekend as well.

The Atlanta area is expecting thousands of people from its northern neighboring states to come to town this weekend.
