Looks like Robbin’ Season was profitably for the four actors in Fox’s breakout TV series “Atlanta” after all. The show has been renewed for a third season, the FX network said this week.

The Emmy-winning comedy series, which stars Donald Glover (writer and executive producer), Lakieth Stanfield, Brian Tyree Henry and Zazie Beetz,

Atlanta is phenomenal, achieving and exceeding what few television series have done,” FX president of original programming Nick Grad said in a statement to media outlets.

“With Atlanta Robbin’ Season, Donald and his collaborators elevated the series to even greater heights, building on the enormous success of their award-winning first season,” Grad said. “We’re grateful to the producers and our extraordinary cast and crew for achieving this level of excellence, and we share the excitement with our audience about the third season knowing they will continue to take us to unexpected and thrilling places.”

In its two seasons, the show, which is about two cousins and a best friend trying to make their way in the rap world, has garnered two Emmys, two Golden Globes, a Peabody and more.
