If you love soul food, Delilah’s Everyday Soul is a must-visit on Atlanta’s Upper West Side. The eatery is run by a mother-daughter team who is serious about their craft.
The mastermind behind Delilah’s Everyday Soul is Chef Delilah Winder, who has appeared on several TV food shows and gotten a shoutout by none other than Oprah Winfrey for her mac ‘n cheese.
I recently visited the eatery to see how some of the menu tastes. I ordered the menu’s most popular item, the Southern Belle, which is a loaded chicken sandwich which features a fried green tomato, bacon slab, pimento cheese, mayo, hot sauce and more. Delicious!
