The Women Circle presents an evening of startup exhibitions by women-run businesses, and connections with elite professionals and entrepreneurs in the Atlanta area.
This event will bring women from across town to network, empower and inspire one another, all in a classy Saturday evening setting. For the cocktail lover, the business woman, and just anyone looking to connect with other Atlanta like-minded women, this is the event for you.

All things Georgia will be on display at the Peach Fest set for Sunday, July 29, 20, 2018. The one-day event runs from 4 to 7 p.m. in downtown Atlanta’s Flat Iron City.
There will be Georgia-sourced food and drink from 65 chefs, distillers, brewers and farmers. (SIGN UP: Get the hottest newsletter in town: AtlantaFi’s Weekly Guide.
The festival promises “your favorite farmers, barkeeps, distillers, brewers and chefs serving up peach-infused classics like crudos, sausage, roasted meats, paleo offerings, cheese and peach chutney, peach brews, wood-fired pizzas, the best pastries, peach infused bbq, ice cream socials and more.”
At the center of the fund-raising efforts is a silent auction filled with rare, cellared wines and gifts from restauranteurs and sponsors. Kids 12 and under are free.
PeachFest is ” a unique signature three-hour culinary experience of delight and wonderment. Feast on peach inspired dishes ranging from paleo to pizza, ethically sourced proteins and responsibly raised heritage breed pigs paired with peaches, a variety of beverages from local craft breweries, distilleries and wineries, all created by some of Georgia’s most forward thinking food and drink leaders.”

Georgia State Stadium will be rocking the first weekend in September as two of the best teams in black college football square off for an early-season test.
The 2018 MEAC/SWAC Challenge takes place Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018 between Prairie View A&M University and North Carolina Central University.
Both teams have had solid seasons the past few years, posting a 41-10 combined record since 2015.
Both teams will have new coaches – Eric Dooley has taken the reins at Prairie View A&M after a stint as offensive coordinator at Grambling State University. Meanwhile Granville Eastman heads North Carolina Central after being promoted from defensive coordinator.

Daytona International SpeedwayThe 2016 Welcome Reception will be held at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, September 3. Hosted by ESPN’s Tiffany Greene, the event will highlight the successes of both the Alcorn State Braves and Bethune-Cookman Wildcats. ESPN SportsCenter anchor Jay Harris will deliver the keynote speech, offering words of advice to all of the student-athletes in attendance. In addition, the six Walter Payton Achievement Award nominees will be honored, culminating with the announcement of the winners. Jarrett Payton, Walter Payton’s brother, will be on hand to present the award.

Parking: $10 per vehicle advanced parking
Parking at Georgia State Stadium is festival style, first-come-first-served in each lot. Handicap parking is available in the Green Lot on a first-come-first-served basis. Please be advised handicap parking spaces are limited. A state issued placard or license plate and a parking pass are required for entry. Passes are currently available for the Green lot only.
Online parking sales close on Saturday, September 1 at 11:59 p.m.
Tailgating and tents are allowed if done in front of or behind your vehicle. You may not take up another parking space. Click here for a full list of Georgia State’s tailgating policies.

There’s few things in life better than a hot summer night, a movie and a nice refreshing beverage.
Atlantans can enjoy all of the above at the Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival at the Fox Theatre in Midtown. There are a number of great films that will grace the screen, including some Oscar-winners.
