Bobby Brown opens domestic violence shelter in Atlanta
Brown was honored Monday with three proclamations from officials in Atlanta, Fulton County and the City of South Fulton.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22, was found dead in a bathtub three years after her mother, singer Whitney Houston, died the same way.
Brown was accompanied by his wife Alicia at the event.
Many have blamed Brown for his bad fortune but in a recent interview, he defended his reputation.
“I think the bad boy image came from me being on stage, not from me being a human being. If you see me in person, meet in person somewhere, you won’t call me a bad guy. You’d call me Bobby.”
