Atlanta Symphony Concerts In The Park In Atlanta

The Atlanta Symphony presents Opera’s Greatest Hits at Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta. The event takes place on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 7:30 p.m.

Cost is free for this concert, which has first-come, first-serve seating.

Atlanta Symphony presents Opera’s Greatest Hits: Tchaikovsky & More

Music Director Robert Spano and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra return to Piedmont Park’s Oak Hill for a performance featuring Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony and more. The evening will begin with a pre-concert performance from the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra at 6:30 p.m., conducted by ASO Associate Conductor and ASYO Music Director Stephen Mulligan.

The Orchestra’s history at the park dates back to the first performances in 1976 led by conductor Robert Shaw. Over the years, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has performed more than 100 concerts in the park, delighting audiences with free live symphonic music.
