One of the most fun events that comes to Atlanta annually is Comic Con, the all-things-comics festival and convention. Every year, thousands of superheroes, vampires and other creatures pulled from the pages of pop culture descend on downtown Atlanta’s  Georgia World Congress Center. Come this weekend, Friday, July 13-15, there’ll assemble again.

Atlanta Comic Con 2018: What you need to know

Exhibitors cater to a ton of pop culture interests including movies, comic books, magazines, toys, games, anime, manga, cosplay, artwork, sketches and more.

One of the cool things about Comic Con is that it draws some of the hottest luminaries in entertainment, from comic industry professionals, celebrities, filmmakers and other creatives. The best thing of all? That you get to meet and greet other geeks and bond over your fandom.

Panelists this year include Sean Astin, Nichelle Nicholls, Matthew Lewis, Cary Elwes, Brianna Hildegrand, Austin St. John and more.

Being one of the largest conventions downtown, Atlanta Comic Con keeps it family-friendly.
