If you’re an athletic-minded person who enjoys a good time, you’ll love the Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K, which is part of the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival.
The race is slated for 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 25 and is hosted by Adams Realtors, one of the top real estate firms in Grant Park. Runners, strollers and more are invited to join in the annual run, which officially kicks off the Summer Shade Festival.
All proceeds from the 5k run benefit the Grant Park Conservancy and its efforts to restore the park.
The Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K also features an awards ceremony and participants ages 21 and up will receive a complimentary draft beer with a valid ID and race bib.
